This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.

This particular Art Deco rug exemplifies Müren’s talent for recapturing iconic classic styles in his own mid-century style. One seldom sees this play of mustard, lavender, burgundy, black and other rich and vibrant hues in this style—let alone in works of this period. It’s an exemplar of the more bold, graphic selections in Müren’s interesting range of work we curate today.
