A beautifully preserved French Bouillotte-style tole table lamp featuring classic black lacquered metal, hand-painted gilded laurel motifs, and refined gilt accents throughout. The adjustable ring-top center post and pierced gilt gallery on the shade are hallmark elements of 18th–19th century Bouillotte forms—originally designed to accompany a French card game of the same name.
This piece has exceptional sculptural presence: the weighted base is decorated with matching gilt foliate detailing, and the arm extends gracefully to support the single socket. The metal shade retains its original painted finish and delicate gold leaf ornamentation.
A perfect accent for desks, consoles, or a curated vignette—bringing an elevated Neoclassical mood to any space.
