Discover a piece of 1920s Parisian craftsmanship with this exceptional vintage trunk. Originating from the renowned Champs-Élysées (see photo) and sold by the prestigious P. Verdier department store as a hand selected, (like a Neiman Marcus signature run), this trunk stands out for its superior build. In fact, it's even more robustly constructed than my Louis Vuitton and by far better built than my Goyard trunk of the same era.
With its navy canvas, brass fittings, leather accents, zinc bottom this piece it was built to be the top of the line and doesn't just carry history—it carries a level of quality and durability that surpasses many of its contemporaries. A true testament to French luxury travel goods, it's a remarkable addition to any collection.
**note: the trunk is not marked by maker. It is tagged from P. Verdier. But the hardware is solid, brass and stamped by
