A fine antique gold and Essex crystal brooch.
In 14 karat yellow gold.
In the form of a ship's wheel with a large Essex crystal cabochon to the center decorated with a sloop style sailboat at sea against a mother-of-pearl background.
Secured with a pin and safety catch.
Marked to the catch.
Simply a wonderful Essex crystal brooch!

Condition Details:
One handle of the ship's wheel (at 5 o'clock) is slightly bent. With some light bends to the pin stem with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
