Stunning set of 10 antique Moser Lobmeyr Gilt Gold Finger Bowls with 12 Underplates.
Produced in Bohemia 1880-1910, Moser's hexafoil clover shaped finger bowls present as a blossoming flower when set upon the underplate. This set is in the rarely seen amber colorway; the warm tone of the glass catches the light, giving the impression that it is glowing from within. The hand painted gilt flower garland and gold edgework sparkle in the light and compliments the glass beautifully.
Moser was sought after by kings, emperors and shahs; Sophia Loren, Louis Armstrong, Robert Redford, Queen Elizabeth II, and even the Pope numbered among Moser's patrons. Seeing this collection, it comes as no surprise that Moser glassworks remain the chosen drinkware at royal weddings throughout Europe to this day.
These pieces have been impeccably cared for and are in remarkable condition for their age.
