This painting is new and in pristine condition. It is the unofficial third piece in the series (N9 and N10) from the Themes and Variations collection exhibited at JBS Gallery in London, Canada from November 19 to December 31, 2020. N9 studied the aesthetic of pinks and reds and N10 studied the aesthetic of blue paints, both from the 2020 collection.

These paintings evoked memories of Gustav Klimt for many viewers who saw N9 and N10 exhibited in the gallery. Created without any specific reference to Klimt or symbolism perhaps the square patterns in the paintings provoked memories of the Austrian mater for some.
