A good late 17th century antique English carved oak coffer chest from the reign of King William III, circa 1690.
The chest having a hinged lid with the original hand-forged iron snipe hinges, the interior having a storage till/candle box on the left side, the chest is aroma free and provides lots of clean storage.
The chest has a carved demi-lune freize to the side of the chest and also the front, below are three panels carved with circular motifs and carved gothic quatrefoil and trefoil motifs.
Condition is very good, this chest is over 300 years old and is ready to grace your space.
