A beautiful French Empire style Buffet Cabinet. Made in Egypt, circa 1980s. Features a serpentine form with a marble top over an attractive birdseye maple case accented by ornate ormolu. The frieze has a hand dovetailed drawer over a large central door with a Neoclassical inspired cherub at the center that opens to a large storage area with shelf. The center is flanked by outer display cabinets allowing for showcase of collectibles. Each opens a glass shelf.
