Beautiful midcentury original oil painting by Lucille Lill, dated on the reverse as a gift to Mary Holt around 1955. The scene shows a quiet lakeside shore with a tree in the foreground, flower beds in red and pink tones, soft rolling mountains, and a pastel sky reflected in the water. The texture is highly worked, with raised impasto details throughout the flowers and foliage.
