Ruth was born a natural artist. She has had professional training by well known artists throughout her life as well as taught oil painting classes. Her inspiration comes from God's creation. She is 87 years young and loves to spend her time oil painting and recreating on canvas her love for nature. She gravitates towards Landscapes and Seascapes and is inspired visually by the many wonders around her. Over the years her artwork has been featured in many West Coast galleries and wineries. Her artwork is currently being shown at Studios on the Park Gallery in Central California.
She painted the "Waterwheel Pond" in 2024 with the beautiful colors of nature. Her oil painting is framed in a solid wood frame that measures 19.5 x 23.5 and has a wire on the back for easy hanging.
