Antique 19th century Chinese Silvered Lidded Tea Caddy w/Jade Bi Disc Lid
late 19th century Qing Dynasty quatrefoil-shaped antique brass Chinese tea caddy with decorative relief panels with Chinese-themed scenes, including flowers, dragons, and bamboo. Interior is silver lined. The top features a beautiful jade centerpiece. 3.5” tall, 3” diameter approx.
Tea caddies were used to store and protect tea leaves, which were a valuable commodity. Amazing antique piece!
