He originally designed the silk scarf in 1986, drawing inspiration from Napoleonic military ornamentation, specifically the sabretaches (pockets) worn by officers. Purchased in the Hermes store in Paris in the 1990s. Comes with a removable down insert. A great addition to furnish your home. See less
