This table starts out as a rectangle but … Read more A timelessly designed dining table that Michael Taylor did for Baker Furniture. This table starts out as a rectangle but with three impressive leaves it can extend to 122". The table has a slight chinoiserie feel (especially at the bottom of the table legs). It was part of the Far East Collection he did for Baker. It has small brass wheels at the bottom of the table legs that make it easier to extend the table.

The dimensions are 68"L x 44"W x 28.25"H. There are three leaves (18" each). This table was stained a very dark brown (espresso). It was not refinished. It does show some wear consistent with light use.

Michael Taylor was one of Architectural Digest's Top 20 Designers of All Time. He is considered to be the father of the California look. He designed several furniture collections for Baker. This table is a great example of his unique design sensibility. See less
