This is a cut crystal decanter by Baccarat in the Tallyrand pattern from 1937. It does not have the original stopper. The included stopper is a tiny bit too small and sits too low. It is marked Baccarat as shown.
The decanter is 8 1/8 inches tall to the rim and 10.00 inches tall to the top of the stopper. It is about 4.50 inches wide across the bottom. Weight is two pounds, nine ounces.
The sides are cut into flat panels with an arch at the top. The included stopper is not even close to the original and while it fits Ok, it really doesn’t look right. It sits too low. The decanter is marked as shown.
There are no chips, cracks, or other damage and no alcohol scent. It is clean and clear and the cuts are sharp and even.
