A magnificent pair of 19th-century Italian pedestal planters, expertly made from solid granite and displaying an impressive monumental scale. Each planter features a broad, rounded bowl with a deeply profiled lip, resting on an elegantly turned baluster-form pedestal that rises from a wide circular foot.
The surface shows the naturally speckled texture characteristic of fine Italian granite, with subtle variations that enhance their sculptural presence. These planters embody timeless classical proportion and exceptional craftsmanship, making them suitable for both interior and exterior architectural settings.
