This exquisite 18th-century French pot de crème service is attributed to the Paris porcelain atelier of André-Marie (Rue Thiroux), circa 1775–1790. Beautifully preserved and exceptionally complete, the set includes six lidded custard cups and a matching scalloped service tray, all decorated in refined hand-painted floral sprigs and elegant fire-gilded accents.
Each pot features a tapered silhouette, square-form handle, and domed lid crowned with a gilt finial—hallmark details of late Louis XVI–era Paris porcelain. The tray and cups carry matching floral garlands in delicate blues, greens, and mauves, framed by finely executed gilt borders. This cohesive decorative scheme and the survival of all original lids and tray place the set among the rarer examples of 18th-century dessert services.
