Crafted in burled … Read more This rare and unusual antique Tiffany & Co humidor dates most likely to the late 18th century. Crafted in burled wood with a sterling silver insert with fitted lids divided into three compartments. The signed clasp is made from brass. The key is sadly missing after over a century, but this remains an incredibly handsome piece of Tiffany history. The interior walls separating the compartments are removable for cleaning. The humidor is signed in two places: on the clasp and on the underside of the small silver compartment lid. There is a small crack inside the lid at upper left corner, a small chip to wood at rear left corner, a small dent to the front left corner of the silver insert, scattered minor finish loss. Interior parts are intact, all lids fit snugly and overall this is in in remarkable antique condition.
