The solid … Read more This brutalist Mid-Century Modern sculpture in the style of the Cubist sculptor Jacques Lipchitz stands at 19.5" tall. The solid sculpture is made of gypsum with a painted copper exterior that has a mottled brutalist texture that adds to it's intensity. The blocky figure kneels on one knee and uses the second leg for support. One arm is extended to create a resting spot for the head. The sculpture is titled "Repose" which is etched into the base. There are no marks to identify the artist but this scultpure is nonetheless impressive. See less
