The well-figured rectangular top with a moulded edge sits above two short and three long graduated drawers all fitted with original brass swan-neck handles and brass escutcheons.

each drawer is oak-lined with hand-cut dovetail joints indicative of fine georgian craftsmanship. The chest stands on shaped bracket feet and retains a beautifully rich colour and lustrous patina developed over more than two centuries.

wood: mahogany with oak drawer linings
condition: excellent antique condition. The drawers run smoothly; minor surface marks and wear consistent with age and use.
