This necklace is from the 70s … Read more Intricately hand crafted sterling silver (tested) ballet slipper hung on a light blue cord. This necklace is from the 70s and was given to me by father. I was a dancer and he lovingly purchased this beautiful necklace for me. Unfortunately it was never worn, I kept saving it for special occasion and found it the other day in my childhood jewelry box. I couldn't bear to not let another budding dancer enjoy its beauty and grace. The details on it are lovely, from the hatch marks on the bottom of the slipper to the bow dangling from the toe. It measures just over an inch including the fixed bail. The length of the cord is 24" long, and it weighs 5 grams. See less
