A dramatic piece of art with a lot of personality! This friendly smiling Chinese Dragonfish has presence for sure. Yet it's small enough to work very nicely on a table or bookshelf. The neutral palette is mainly a warm bone color with brown accents and touches of a darker Burnt Umber throughout. The bottom is finished in a green felt to protect the surface it sits on.
In Chinese mythology, the Carp transforms into a dragon when it leaps over the Dragon Gate Waterfall, symbolizing either spiritual growth or perseverance in the pursuit of success. A nice idea to live with!
