The known provenance is that it is from a North Florida estate. Age unknown. Wicker sides, willow base, handle wood is unknown. The charming basket has been lovingly repaired long ago with wire. Someone enjoyed many hours of fishing and used the creek for many years (a long time ago-no fish smell :)
