Ernest Lee, widely known as “The Chicken Man,” is one of the most recognizable and beloved outsider artists in the American South. Based in South Carolina, Lee has spent decades painting his energetic, elongated chickens — each one hand-painted, full of personality, and instantly identifiable. His work has been showcased at festivals, galleries, and live painting events, and his following continues to grow.
