A drawing that feels like it wants to walk off the wall. This expressive figure sketch came from the archives of a sculptor, created as a working study for a larger piece. The posture, the mass, the movement—you can see the sculpture already forming in the lines.
Drawn in heavy black pencil on crinkled brown paper, it’s framed simply to let the form speak for itself. Raw, gestural, and full of intent.
Artist unknown (acquired from sculptor’s estate)
