Beautiful color and large size fixture with mouth blown glass in a capsule/cylinder shape frame.
A rare and striking pendant lamp featuring thick amber hand-blown glass encased in a patinated metal sheath, reminiscent of the Brutalist aesthetic. This mid-century modern design, attributed to designer Felipe Derflingher, showcases the hallmark fusion of industrial metalwork and organic glass forms. Great example of mexican brutalist modernism.
The cylindrical amber glass body is accented with a rustic, perforated metal band. Light peeks through cut-out motifs, producing a warm, atmospheric glow. The upper metal cap is original, with natural wear and patina consistent with age.
Ideal for atmospheric lighting in living rooms, entryways, or boutique interiors.
Roughly 20 inches not including the chain.
