The desk features a scalloped apron and three outer drawers on the lower front. There appear to be four, but the middle drawer is a faux front to accommodate the hidden compartment—the desk locks, as do each of the outer drawers. Each of the outer drawers features a bronze-finished cartouche. The original key will be delivered with the desk—the interior features six stacked drawers, two shelves, and a hidden compartment with a slide top. There is a beautiful patinaed leather writing surface. The desk sits on cabriole legs, each with bronze-finished ormolu details at the foot. See less
