a fine late victorian mahogany and satinwood inlaid corner cabinet, circa 1890–1905. The upper section with a shaped and shelved back above a moulded edge, finely inlaid with ribbon-tied swags and geometric motifs. The single cupboard door below with a central marquetry panel of floral design set within satinwood crossbanding, opening to a shelved interior. Raised on a moulded plinth base with shaped bracket feet.

stamped edwards & roberts to the door panel - top and fitted with a small brass retailer’s plaque stamped agnew to the reverse, indicating supply through thomas agnew & sons, the celebrated london art and furnishing house of pall mall.
