Early Persian Tile Possibly 17C / 18C. A rectangular moulded tile with a falconer, above various religious buildings in relief and with a lower border of flowers and leaves and upper border of birds. Exceptional cobalt, aqua and deep earth tones.
Description
Early Persian Tile Possibly 17C / 18C. Housed in a later veneer wood frame from 19C. Exceptional Weight. Overall condition good. (frame - please see pic. for side of frame with loss of veneer) Correct Glaze and Color to Tile. Overall Size with frame: approx.12.5 x 10 in. Tile Size: approx. 6.5 x 9 in.
