It is made from bronze that has been gold gilded; the center ball and bird on top are both solid bronze. The finish and patina is original and has not been washed or redone. The small, rough cut red crystals on the bobesches are not original and something we added to this piece to add interest. The decorative chain. which is included with this fixture is 16 inches long. The actual fixture is only 13 inches tall and 11 inches wide, but it is quite heavy for its size at 9 pounds, 2 ounces. See less
