The detail and color of this painting are so amazing. The artist has depicted a field at haying time, with stacks of golden hay standing in a freshly cut field. In the background another green field stretches to the horizon where it is met by the setting sun. The artist did an excellent job capturing the suns golden rays, and the way they reflect off of the hay stacks and the the girl working in the field makes you almost feel the warmth of the rays on your face. When you look closely you can see the exisquite detail of each piece of hay. This would be a lovely addition to any wall! See less
