Beautiful burled walnut veneers with compass rose inlays. We've always used it as a liquor cabinet and it serves admirably in that capacity. Lock and key work, left door fastens with a wooden latch on the inside. Purchased at an antique store in Norfolk many years ago. No idea of the provenance nor actual age.
