Beautiful pair of authentic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Barrel Chairs by Cassina, inspired by Wright’s 1904 design for the Darwin D. Martin House and later produced for several of his Usonian homes.
Both chairs are number-stamped on the underside, and one of them still has the original importer sticker (which almost always is lost over the years) indicating an early production run.
These chairs feature Wright’s iconic wrap-around semi-circular back that forms a perfect barrel shape, enclosing the sitter in a continuous curve.
