A stunning piece of antique French workmanship, every detail is symmetrical and uniform. Top features a large lid, which when opened reveals a pull-out tooled leather writing surface, with three drawers above it. Above the door is the large display surface, perfect for clock, sculpture or art! Below the length of the door is a row of three larger drawers. Desk is made from mahogany, parquetry inlaid with kingwood, tulip wood, satin wood. Standing on four straight downward tapering legs ending in bronze cups. Desk is in good condition, showing light age / use wear (please see photos). Size is great for a house or an apartment at 38.75" tall, 28" wide, and 18" deep, while the writing surface is 29.5" height and knee clearance is 23.5" height. This beauty will work in any traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
