Vintage Miniature "A Cup of Christmas Tea" Bone China Set
"A Cup of Christmas Tea" miniature china sets were created by Waldman House Press to complement the popular book of the same name, written by Tom Hegg and published in 1982. These miniature bone china sets were manufactured from 1992 to 1996. Matching full-size teacups and saucers were also produced during the 1990s.
The mini china features the iconic "Christmas Holly" pattern, complete with green holly leaves, red berries, and gold trim, which perfectly matches the illustrations by Warren Hanson found in the book.
This specific set includes (approximate dimensions):
• One 2.5” miniature teapot with a lid
• One 1.3” sugar bowl with a lid
• One creamer
• Two cups
• Two saucers
• One 4.75” serving plate with the text "A Cup of Christmas Tea" in the center
The china itself is in pristine condition; however, the original box shows minor shelf wear.
There is a dime and quarter in some of the pictures for size comparison.
