Lorillard Co., dating to the early 1900s. The red and black lithographed metal box has a woven background, like a basket, with tigers on each side and product information on the top. It has two hinged handles and a hinged lid. Back in the day, this type of tin was reused as a lunch pail, once the tobacco was all gone. The tin is in beat up condition, with dents and scrapes and some fading (particularly on one side, which has turned orange). The inside is still nice, with a little rust, and the lid fits tightly.
