This handsome 18th-century Italian coiffeur trunk was acquired in Bologna and dates to circa 1740–1760. Expertly hand-carved from rich black walnut, it showcases the refined craftsmanship and sculptural detail characteristic of northern Italy during this period.
The trunk offers a generous main storage compartment, along with a smaller interior section ideal for organizing smaller items. There is a minor split at the base, consistent with age, which does not affect the structure or integrity of the piece.
