Each chair features a tall back with a solid central oak panel framed by twin hand-woven cane inserts, and a caned seat that keeps the look light and airy. Warm honey-oak frames sit on graceful cabriole front legs with dark foliate appliqués at the knees and feet, echoed at the top corners of the back. The mix of clean lines and carved details makes these easy to pair with traditional, French Provincial, farmhouse, or eclectic interiors.

Condition

Vintage condition consistent with age and use. Minor surface marks and small finish variations. Caning is tight and supportive overall. On one chair, there is a small area along the front edge of the seat where the cane has loosened/lifted from the groove—see close-up photo. Usable as is; at some point the new owner may wish to have that single seat re-cane or reinforced. Priced with this in mind. All chairs are sturdy and sit well.
