Classic 1960s hanging Grape Lamp made of solid Lucite "grapes," both amber and green in color and hanging off a piece of driftwood which acts, visually, as the vine. Lit from within by two, clear 10 watt nightlight bulbs.
As unlikely as it seems, it appears these grape lamps originated with Mormon homemakers in Utah in the '50s. I was always under the impression that these were either of Italian or Italian-American origin because all of my Italian-American friends' parents had them in their homes in the 1960s.
As of this listing, we have additional Grape Lamps for sale on Chairish, including three Pineapple-shaped table lamps, one table lamp on driftwood and this large grape bunch hanging lamp. All are in perfect working order.
On off switch on cord; cord approx 10' in length along with the decorative chain for hanging as a swag.
