Two in Stillness captures a quiet, almost shy intimacy — the calm, gentle moment when two beings stand next to each other and let their presence speak. The figures are tall and soft-edged, their silhouettes formed by your signature blend of rounded shapes, bold lines, and vibrant color fields. On the left, the blue figure leans forward slightly, as if listening or offering a subtle gesture of curiosity. Their striped lower half adds rhythm, giving the sense of a soft vibration beneath the stillness.
Beside them, the pink-and-yellow figure stands more grounded, radiating warmth through the bright palette. The black central shape feels like an inner doorway or a quiet heart — an emotional core nestled inside all the color. Both characters have wide, expressive eyes that look sideways, almost toward each other, creating a delicate tension: there is something unspoken between them, something tender and unresolved.
Around the pair float small circular motifs — dots, bubbles, tiny forms — framing them in a constellation of playful motion. These scattered marks contrast with the piece's simplicity, lending it a lively yet contemplative atmosphere. Red hands, so characteristic of your characters, act like emotional antennas: open, expressive, and full of personality.
I love this piece because it says so much with so little. The two figures feel like companions, perhaps even soul mirrors — distinct, different, yet connected by the quiet space between them. You love their simplicity, their gentle posture, their soft humor. And you love how the small floating shapes bring a sense of magic around them, as if the world is whispering while they stand together. It is a drawing full of quiet affection, the kind that doesn’t need words.
