The Gathering feels like a meeting of different energies, each character arriving with its own rhythm, shape, and quiet intention. The figures stretch, curve, and lean into each other, creating an atmosphere that is both mysterious and harmonious. One long, blue form stands like a calm observer, while the yellow-centered character seems to step forward with curiosity. The tall, black silhouette on the right brings an elegant, shadow-like presence, giving the entire scene a sense of drama and movement.
The floating heads above suggest multiple witnesses or spirits taking part in the moment, as if this encounter is happening on more than one level — the physical, the emotional, and the imaginary. The patterns of stripes, dots, and organic lines make the drawing vibrate with life, almost as if a conversation were happening without words. Everything feels interconnected: the colors, the curves, the scattered dots that give rhythm and breath to the composition. It’s a small universe where characters meet, exchange, and transform.
I love this piece because it carries a sense of mystery that feels deeply personal to me — like a dream I’ve half-remembered. The characters seem to communicate in quiet, fluid gestures, and I’m drawn to the way they all coexist without crowding each other. I love the contrast between the elegant black figure and the more playful shapes around it; it makes me feel like I’m watching different emotions meet — confidence, curiosity, softness, and strength. The color palette also resonates with me: the bright blues, yellows, and reds, balanced with the black and white textures, create a harmony that draws my eye naturally across the page. It feels alive, sensitive, and full of imagination — precisely the kind of world I love to create.
