Sterling silver server from Calcutta India, vintage 1930's-the 40s. Packaged in original gift box as shown in the photos. Silk lined gift box marked Jewel Craft Jewellers address 135 New Market Calcutta. Handmade with scenes of elephants and monkeys on the handle and marked sterling silver to the back of the blade. The handle has two tiny brass bells attached as an ornament. The size is 9" long by 3.5" wide, the curve is .8" high.
The condition is very good.
