Paavo Tynell is a legend and the father of Finnish lighting. His designs are coveted for their beauty and refinement. All his lamps are rare, but this one is one of the rarest and in simply splendid condition! Many of his brass lamps, at this point, show significant tarnish and wear. This one is like being able to go back in time 70 years and finding it gleaming like a gem! It has some fine scratches and tarnish to the copper arm, but it is truly the finest Paavo Tynell swing arm lamp available and a magnificent example of his craftsmanship!
