“Carnival of Friendship” is a joyful and animated drawing featuring two whimsical characters standing together in a world that seems to vibrate with color and movement. One figure leans playfully toward the other, creating a tender and humorous sense of connection. Their bodies are constructed from vibrant shapes—pink, green, yellow, bright blue, and fiery orange—outlined in bold black lines that give them structure and rhythm.
Floating forms—round orbs, stripes, and swirling silhouettes—add the feeling of a carnival in motion, where everything is alive and slightly mischievous. The red-and-white striped element between the figures acts almost like a shared pillar, a symbol of balance and unity. The composition is lively, graphic, and full of character, giving the small work a surprisingly expansive emotional presence.
I love this piece because it captures companionship with humor and tenderness. The tilted gesture of the left character lends the whole scene a sense of affection and spontaneity, as if they are whispering secrets or laughing together. The colors radiate joy, and the quirky shapes remind me why I love creating these characters—they feel like little fragments of my own emotional world. It’s a small drawing, but it has the warmth and charm of something much bigger.
