This painting was inspired by the two times Shoemaker witnessed wild horses on the range. He used acrylic paint applied to a nylon canvas, measuring 9 feet high by 9 feet wide. This painting is not stretched for easy shipping. Once stretched it will measure 8’4” high X 9’ wide.

Without question once hanging on your wall, it’s guaranteed to make a big and impressive statement. Furthermore, it is signed by the artist in the front “Cyrstofer” which is his childhood name, which he signs all of his artwork by and now is his trademark.

Shoemaker began painting back in 2000. He was impressed with the late and well known artist Purvis Young who is an outsider artist who paints on found materials, plus being completely self taught. Shoemaker follows that same theme, however this painting isn’t on found materials.
