“Landscape” is a richly textured original by John Baughman, blending oil and mixed media on paper. Broad golden fields fade into a horizon of silhouetted trees, with gestural marks of color adding tension and movement across the surface. Baughman’s work is known for its minimal composition and layered, evocative surfaces, and this piece exemplifies that balance of restraint and expression. The image extends to the paper’s edge and is ideally suited for float mounting.
