Beautiful antique porcelain footed teacup and saucer set from Yoko Boeki Co (Nippon/Japan). The set features white opalescent glaze, with a deep pink luster glaze, gold detail and gold trim. Both cup and saucer feature scalloped edges and textured forms. A beautiful set to display on its own or as part of a collection.
Measurements: Cup 3½ x 3½”, Saucer 5½”
Condition: These pieces are in excellent antique condition. There are no chips, cracks or damage, and only minimal signs of use/wear, and slight loss of gilding appropriate to age. Each piece is marked on the underside with the Yoko Boeki mark in use between 1891 and 1921. Note: these pieces have been wiped with a soft cloth, but have not been professionally cleaned.
