Hand-knotted in wool, its design recaptures antique dragon rugs in a contemporary take on distressed texture.

This particular design draws on Chinese dragon rugs, and evokes their most regal presence and cultured air alike. Rich reds and blues on ochre create the dramatic scene where dragons soar through the heavens in a graphic mural. The style adapts beautifully to this unique Rustic Modern design, and the distressed texture further complements its classic look in a natural play.
This is both a bold nod to a celebrated Oriental style, and an approachable work of folk art with vast applications. Our construction further employs our easy-to-maintain, comfortable wash to achieve this look and feel.
