Generously proportioned black tole tray with gilt edges featuring an action-packed scene of the fire brigade fighting a multi-story blaze. The scene possibly commemorates the Greenwich Avenue fire of 1908. Signed en verso "W. Lovejoy, Greenwich Conn.", believed to be the signature of Winifred Lovejoy.
Good antique condition with scratches and some loss of paint.
