Large American Micromosaic Alaskan Landscape, Features Moose
This large scale micromosaic panel is executed with impressive precision. It features a moose in an Alaskan landscape. The labor intensive process of this finely worked panel is clearly displayed; it contains an incredible 20,000 tessarae or tiles in monochromatic colored marble and glass. The work is monogrammed on the lower left.
This rustic Northern landscape picture is a rare and unique decorative piece.
The condition is very good. No tiles missing.
Provenance - From the Crane Estate in Fort Pierce, Florida.
