This is a beautiful mid to late 20th-century tablecloth with a Scandinavian or Hungarian-style floral motif. Beautiful geometric shape with floral accents and an embroidered finished hem. Red and brown yarn. It is a linen/cotton material.
Excellent vintage condition overall. It had a tiny 1 cm-long tear in the fabric that I restored using vintage thread to make it blend in and extend the life of this beautiful piece of art and preserve it for many more years to come. You can see the repair zoomed out in the picture, and the zoomed-in repair in the picture after that. It also has a couple of very faint age stains and 1 more prominent (last picture).I treated them, but they did not come out. They could benefit from a professional dry cleaner or be used as is. Flaws do not affect the functionality of the piece or the aesthetic.
